Hi

I have a Manfrotto 222 head and the level has lost its liquid - does anyone know were I can get a new one from? also a quick release plate for the top?

Just wondering if anywhere did spares?

Hi Ali,

Not sure about the bubble but the quick release plate is the Manfrotto 234RC. I bought one in Jacobs Photo for about £20 so I would think pretty much any camera shop will have them.

You might try Manfrotto direct for the bubble. It's shown on the drawing for the head so should be available as a spare part.

The quick release plates can be bought off ebay. Chinese copies are about £6-8 each and identical to the genuine ones. So much so that I cannot now tell which of mine were genuine and which are chinese!! If you want spares for manfrotto stuff then you need to ring Studio one who are the importers. I will get you the number......

I just bought a Manfrotto 410PL RC4 Plate (the big one) for £11.95

Arrived the next working day.
