Manfrotto 390 Series

Hi does anyone know much about the Manfrotto 390 Series tripods sets?..
Are they anygood?..

I need to get myself a tripod, But unsure what to go for,, Budget really is £125 Max.. but cheaper would be ideal.. but dont rally wanna buy something that is a waste and months downline have to buy again..

Im also unsure on the weight front, load wise.. my kit is a 550d with heaviset lens is the 55-250 is.. Hope someone could help..

These are what im looking at.. not sure what head to go for though.. or the 393 or 394 version

The load capacity of the first one I looked at is 2.5kg, you can get a manfrotto 190 for sub £100 that will hold about 8kg

Sorry thats me not explaining myself. Good quality second hand ones on this site go for about that. Personally I wouldn't bother getting a new one if you can pick up an excellent quality second hand one. If it is going to be used its bound to get a few dings and scratches.

p.s the linked one looks ok but check out redsnapper tripods, they do similar for a lot less money

Oh ok thanks. Have ordered. 290 with a head. As had a 10% off voucher so that helped
