Would really appreciate some help on this.
I took the 393 out today for my first real attempt using it.
Now as i understand it the favoured method of use is to have it setup the opposite way to how it is shown in the product shots.
The problem i had was that once i had balanced the lens (which took lots of minor adjustments) I had to apply a lot of friction to the knobs
which control the tilting movement. Is this normal? my understanding was that once the kit was balanced it would stay in position and you would be able to change the position (eg tilt the kit up or down) without it over rotating.
It's likely that i am missing something and need to make another adjustment somewhere but i am stumped at the minute
