This video head is supposed to be OK, but the tilt/pan resistance a little heavy (even though it is designed more for light camcorders than say the 701/501). Does anyone have experience of using this product?
Interested to know your experience with tilt/pan, on what tripod, and what are the (approx.) overall dims of the product - as I cannot find any info on the Manfrotto Website. I was hoping this would be more compact than the 701.
Otherwise, there is the 391RC2, but that seems not up to DSLR+zoom.
