Does anyone have one of these? Thinking of getting one to use with a compact camera and grateful for your views on it.

I've got one that I actually use a 60D with a 10-18 lens with. Haven't tried it in heavy winds but it's seems stable enough so can't see you have any trouble with a compact. It's so small and light, stick it on the back of my slingshot and barely notice it's their.
