It's around this time of year that my thoughts turn to Edinburgh and this summer's festival. Last year I found my monopod cumbersome, difficult to unscrew from my lenses quickly, too much effort to shorten quickly and a trip hazard in venues when laid down. This year I'm thinking of getting a new monopod with a quick release head and a couple of plates for lenses to make the whole thing that much easier.
Has anyone any experience of the below:
Manfrotto 685B NEOTEC MONOPOD W/SAFETY LOCK
and ...
Manfrotto 234RC MONOPOD HEAD QUICK RELEASE
They seem to be the dieal solutions to my problems but I was wondering if anyone's used these in action so to speak?
TIA
