Manfrotto Monopod Head

I've got a 679B monopod by Manfrotto and want to add a quick release head to it.

Don't want to spend a fortune so thought would ask on here for guidance.

I mainly need it to support a Canon 5dMk3 camera, usually with a lens up to about 200mm - need steadiness function due to increasing problems with hands.

The 234RC2 is what I use on my monopod. Only tilts in one axis but leaning the 'pod forwards/backwards takes acre of the other.

Hi Nod - funnily enough that was the main one I identified - as its a monopod useage as you correctly state you don't need all the tilt axis etc - keep that for the tripods

Now to find a cheap or second hand one

Even new, the 234 isn't expensive. IIRC there's a camera shop in Barnstaple that stocks Manfrotto - if not, there are a couple in Exeter and Amazon is always an option if you're buying rather than shopping!
