Mannequins

I have been doing this for several years. I'm not sure why I find mannequins such a fascinating subject, but I do; I can't walk past a clothes shop window without looking for a photo. My wife thinks it's weird and wanders off when she sees me pointing my camera at shop windows.

I don't think most people give mannequins a second glance, but when you look, there's some strange things going on on the high street.

No, all are shot handheld. Sometimes I brace against the window.

Nice pic! Well done on getting thrown out of a shop on your first go I've avoided being ejected from any shops yet, and I've been doing it for ages. I did however once have a security guard in a mall in Qatar tell me it was illegal to photograph mannequins without their consent

You could go in a shop, and photograph a clothed mannequin. Simply say, you want to show your missus the outfit.

I also have this thing about mannequins, but I never thought about starting a thread. I joined a couple of groups on Flickr and some of my stuff finds its way there.
Here are some I prefer. The first is a merge using GIMP (I need to practise my cutting skills more, I know) and the last one looks a bit eerie!!
