I want to get a fisheye, maybe like 12mm or 15mm but I don't want to spend a lot on it as I don't know how much i'll use it - it will be mainly for filming with.

I've heard people say there are a ton of manual focus lenses that sell really cheaply, are there some fisheyes in this bracket you can recommend?

I've a zenitar 16mm fish that I am delighted with. AF isn't a big issue with these as the depth of field is enormous. Make sure you get and use the filters that should come with this lens if you buy. I left them off and got rubbish shots but it turns out they are part of the optical path for the lens. Pm me if you are interested and I'll give you some sample shots.

They are for crop sensors only, though. My mate uses one on a 450D, and gets great results. It is totally manual - even the aperture is ring controlled and the body will just read "f/00" - but the metering still works correctly (even in Av) as it's TTL.

hmm, was thinking about something a bit cheaper than those - like in the region of 50-75 for a second hand 20 year old lens
