Manx Rally Day 2 (Multiple Images)

Further to yesterdays rallying, here is a few from today. For once the sun came out and burnt my face! white cars are tricky to expose for in the sun I found.

Interested to hear what you guys think.

Going for the floral touch while he bottomed out the suspension

Shot at 17mm so you can guess how close this boy was at 70ish mph

Stage is called the Old Mines, so I tried to include them.

Particular favourites would be #2 for the sheer proximty to the moving subject, made even better by the fact its airborne, plus it has great perspective.

#5 because it looks like you would have to shift just as quick as the cars to escape Good sharp composition - would be perfect as a promo shot for the team or car.

Cheers guys, for the rally's I use two 10D's a 300mm F4L is, A sigma 70-200mm F2.8, 50mm 1.8, and finally a 17-40mm F4L.

Usually using the sigma though.

Is number 4 a Metro 6R4? Always liked that car. Nice shots too!
The Evo in the air is my favourite, did you pre-focus for that one?

Cheers, yes Clint it is the 6R4, crazy looking thing, lol

I prefocused about 6 foot closer than the brow of the rise because when they hit that point they are only just leaving the ground.
