Undecided Map for plotting locations?

What maps do you use for plotting photography locations?

I’ve used google maps for a while but find it quite limited

I tend to use Streetmap (https://www.streetmap.co.uk/) which is good for things like footpaths and viewpoints when you zoom in.

OS maps for navigation and TPE 3D for locations sunrise/sunset info.

What do you mean by plotting locations? Do you mean you have a map with pins in for every location you’ve visited or thinking of visiting?

Both, so it could be looking at locations to visit or locations I’ve visited that I want to go back to

I'm peripherally interested in this - I've asked a similar question before - https://www.talkphotography.co.uk/threads/organising-scouting-planning-notes.716577 - for now I'm using PhotoPills (after the research using OS Maps (app & paper maps), Geograph, Google Earth, YouTube, Fotovue books, etc)

It was a quick phone reply earlier on.

I have locations pinned in Google Maps. Not just to remember but to plan days out, see what locations are in a similar area or en-route to each other, maybe to book an Airbnb overnight stay etc Also street view can help with parking, laybys, etc

I use OS Maps (& subscribe) as it is very useful for public footpaths & plotting walking routes, contours show you the terrain, heights, etc aswell as things like streams, waterfalls, types of woodland.....

Though I don't use it much I did find Orux Maps app pretty good.
