The birds are a bit scarce in the estuary at the moment so I got the macro lens out for a try at the little beasties.
This shot has been rotated 90 degrees for effect. Taken at f8 I would liked to have stopped down to f11 but I was already shooting at 1/125 sec and ISO 800.

I like these little critters and it looks nice on the flower. Unfortunately, you have missed the focus on the eyes, I would say it's somewhere behind the wings.
