Marbles

I borrowed a friend’s marbles to photograph and have decided to surprise her by printing them out and framing them. Very interesting doing macro photography as the magnified subject can look so powerful. I placed matching colored card underneath the marbles to keep the color. All taken with the Canon 100mm 2.8 macro.
I could really get carried away with macro photography as It makes the shot just that little bit more different and interesting.

2nd shot for me mate, great colour & composition, definitely works.
If I'm being picky, the 1st shot is a tad too orange & the marble blends in quite a bit imo.
2nd shot is spot on though

2nd for me too. Just needs a brighten up .... exposure in photoshop should do it.

Upped the exposure in cs3 like you said Janice. Looks better now. thanks for the advice

Nice shots, I photographed some marbles back along, great subject for playing. I like #2 best.

2nd one is my favourite too, really good composition and spot on with the focus!
