Playing with my new light diffuser for macro shots (A pringles tube) and decided to practice on one of my favourite time pieces.
Shot with my Canon 5D2 with the Canon 100mm f2.8 lens with a Yongnuo 600EX-RT on top and a Pringles tube (Sour Cream and Chive) plonked on that and a piece of thin translucent foamy material at the end.
Added an High Pass sharpening and a contrast boost in post.

 
Very well executed shot there Somon, superb lkighting of a very nice watch, great choice of flavor also, sour cream and chives.(y):)

Thanks it started as a joke between me and a friend but it works quite nicely. I've found sour cream and chive is better than salted for dispersing light.

A great photograph with lots of detail.

It's worth knowing which flavour tube gives the best results. :thinking:
