She was laying eggs so I took the opportunity to snap a few shots while she was preoccupied in her quest.

Excellent set again. This set reminded me of a woman I went out with. At one time she had a job as a lab technician. Her task was to capture virgin female flies after they hatched and put them aside for an experiment. It seems that female flies do not remain virgins for very long. The images are brilliant.

These are just excellent images - as good as anything I've seen knocking around the web. Give us a few clues about the set up you used to get these results!

Sldeshow I used the Canon 40d with the Canon MP-e 65 and MT-24 ex Macrolite diffused with 2 fong puffers. Exif data is intact for settings.

Excellent set Alby....Oh why dont Nikon do a version of the MPE - 65 :(....

brilliant, it took a while to spot those eggs. To busy looking at all the other fantastic detail.
