Any body had experience with Martinscamerashop.co.uk I can't find a review of there site, just about to order a d700 and 24-70 they are the cheapest but are they reliable?
Any response would be good .

Make sure it is actually them and not "yorkshire cameras" who are using Martins address and name as a cover for thier scam site.

I think I've bought three lenses from them over the years.

Had to wait a while for one of them to come into stock (they don't keep high stock levels) but they kept me updated regularly and threw in a UV filter for my trouble.

I felt I was getting a personal service from what IIRC are a married couple running the business.

I'd have no hesitation about buying from them again.

Bought a 300-800 Sigma off them , I even went to the so called "non existent" shop to pick it up as well, strange that.........

They were recommended to me by a chap on here who has a lot, possibly hundreds, of lenses, he said they could get obscure stuff quick. They did and the service was first class.

I've bought tons of stuff from MCS over the last few years. They don't carry much stock so it's usual to have to wait a bit for delivery, but their prices are consistently keen and their customer service is consistently very good.
