LOL at the giraffe!!!
Mongoose is good, with nice eye reflection.
your last hound photo seems a little flat? maybe a little more contrast.
 
I like the idea of the Meerkat, but think the shallow DOF is just a bit excessive.

Thanks, the Mongoose took a while to show his face :) understood on the last pic..i kinda liked it so left it as is :) she has a light blue tint in her fur as her dad was a blue staff.

I took hundreds that day but amature mistake I didnt check focus or anything while I was reaching into the pit...and loads of the images were just junk :(

Thanks, the giraffe did make me laugh, she was trying to get something out of her mouth :)
