saw this old matchless when i was out on the bike Tuesday, only taken on my phone, lovely to see old bikes still out and being used, especially with the roads being still full of salt and crap

My son has just bought a Matchless 650 twin. I have been a BSA man since birth (inherited from father). I still like the look of the AMC bikes. Strange how we get these brand loyalties which sometimes blind us to the attributes of other makes.

That reminds me - it's the Bristol Classic Bike Show this weekend. We're heading up on Sunday.

A mate has an AJS 250 (IIRC; might be a 350!) in his shed, gathering dust.
