Popped down to Mere Sands again. Weather was dull and I was miles away from these even at 300mm. Anyway, I snapped a couple of Grebes 'doing the deed'. I've thrown in a few Geese as well. And yes, I know they aren't sharp! 
A Sony 70-300G SSM isn't going to cut it if I want better results. It's a great lens but limited in lower light. A gentleman I was talking to today had his Nikon 500mm F4 lens with him. I felt very 'small' next to him! :|
