max cf card on nikon d100?

hello,

just got a 8gb cf card for my d100

it will only take 374 photo's on raw

is this right?

should it be more?

I get 390 with an 8 gig card on my D100.

Remember the D100 by default doesn't compress the NEF (as its too slow), so these are uncompressed NEFs. You'll get less per card than other Nikon bodies, which do compress the NEF by default.

An 8 gig gives me 394 on my D300 and a few more on the D200.
