Working up in the lincoln area today, happened to be amazed that the red arrows were up in the blue skys this morning doing what i think was a practice display, but WOW, ive never been so up close and personal with them, as i was driving down the dual carrige way one of them came screaming past me, must have been 100m max and i still have the sound ringing in my ears lol 
, so i took a small divert off my travels and parked up at the end of the runway at scampton and carried on watching the awesome reds until they finally came into land which i was awe struck as they came over the top of me no higher than 20ft, and i was so amazed i just couldnt take it in lol, i was also gutted not to see the full 9 as we all know about the accident in bournemouth which took the life of flt lt jon egging ( RIP JON ). another reason i was gutted is that i didnt have my camera with me for this fantastic photo opportunity, but i will be back
