Saw this on approach to Humberside Airport (Kirmington) today.

It is a McDonnell Douglas MD-900 the same type as the based police helicopter but this one is private and is registered in the USA.

Just had a bit of a play with white balance (or more accurately black balance!) and this is closer to the real colour of the helicopter.

Mmm interesting aircraft with a weather radar, wire cutters and an American Reg. It's also had the tail extension mod done to increase all up weight/power. Wonder what it was doing at Humberside, I believe its a Corporate hire aircraft.
