A jousting tournament on at Fort George Today, these are the best of them. 100-400mm again, to think I almost sold it :eek:

Cracking shots, that is a great lens, will have to save up to get one
 
They must have been sweating their nads off in todays hot weather! very colourful, and some good action shots :clap:

There are still quite a few Venues. Its the Knights Tournament run by English Heritage.


Very nice shots by the way. Dont think my 70-300 Sigma is going to do the Tourny justice when i go later this year :(

Thanks for the comments all, wasn't as easy as I thought it would be, not too many chances to keep clean backgrounds.

Yep, it nearly made it into double figures in northern Scotland yesterday. :D
 
All good but last one is great! Be better without the spectators though ;)
 
bet them buggers are hot!
 
Another fine set Dod and the timing on the last shot is nice.

Fabulous set Dod, the last one for me too, I’d defo edit out that blinking photographer, you just can't seem to get away from them nowadays. :grin: Great look on that horses face as well.

...some would look great mono, me thinks... perchance sire. :)
 
Saw the signs for this and wanted to be there but had other fatherly duties to attend to. Would never have got such great shots anyway!
