Just wondering if anyone out there is a registered medical illustrator or could give me some guidance of how I go about becoming one.
I have had a look on the internet and it looks like you need a degree in a media related subject. Would a BIPP qualification be the right way to go? I have good GCSE grades (the usual english, science and maths all A -C) I've worked for the NHS for 4 years where i've done both Diploma in Health and social care level 2 & 3 and will be looking at doing a foundation degree in H&S care. I found this flowchart from the IMI website which has given me a vague idea of what i'll need, do you think the foundation degree would be enough to then apply for a trainee illustrator position?

Any advice would be helpful!
