Does anyone know of a medium format slide/neg scanner? I'm having a play with some old camera gear and its medium format. I would rather keep my house fix and developer smell free so thought a scanner would allow me to have a digital darkroom.

Like Heather said check the Film and Conventional forum out but questions like:

Do you want a flatbed scanner?
Do you want a dedicated film scanner?

Whats your prices range which could be anything from less than £100 for a used flat bed one to over £15K for a new Imacon scanner.

If you can pick up a Nikon Coolscan 9000, that's the one to get. Its a seriously good scanner and will blow any flatbed scanner out of the water. They stopped making them a few years ago, but because they are so good, they retain their value quite well. I bought one in 2004 for £2.2k and sold it a month ago for £1.6k.

Keep your eye on Ebay as they sometimes pop there. Avoid the Coolscan 8000 as its painfully slow and has banding issues.
