Memory Card problem?

I have upgraded to Vista from XP recently, and now when I insert my CF cards into the memory card reader, the cards show the images then stop. The end result is I lose all my images and have to format the card.

If I insert usb cable to the camera everything is okay so it would seem to be a problem with CF cards and vista?

Camera is a D300 btw, anyone else had problems like this if so are there any solutions?
 
Could be the drivers for the card reader are not installed. I would check that out 1st
 
:thinking:Try disconnecting your card reader, rebooting your computer then reconnecting your card reader and your computer should 'search and recognise' it automatically under Vista.
