memory card question

iam of to spain in two weeks for two weeks iam after some memory cards any advise on which ones and where to buy would be well received thanks

I'm a great believer in SanDisk cards and get mine from 7dayshop. 2 weeks should be enough time for them to arrive if you order soon.

Whatever you do, buy before you travel. Otherwise, if you are able to even find memory cards of a decent size, you will need to spend all your beer money on one.

Another vote for SanDisk - I usually source via 7dayshop or latterly Amazon. Possibly might find some cheaper elsewhere but I know I can rely
on either retailer to usually deliver on time as I normally leave it to the last minute for these things!

i use the 4gb 15mb/sec cards and there great, looking to upgrade soon so may be looking at the 30mb/sec file, probably wont notice any differece, i just like to buy new toys

Don't do what I did and buy from ebay.....turned out card was dodgy and that there are lots of fake cards on ebay.....luckily I got a refund and I went on to purchase from 7dayshop

I recently got 2 Sandisk Ultra SDs for play for a good price. If you have a high FPS camera it might be worth getting the Extreme though.

Sandisk Extreme (60 Mb/s) or Extreme-Pro (90 Mb/s) if you can afford them...
With a 50d you probably don't need the exra-fast write-speeds of the 'Pro' variants...
