Hi All,

I have this SDHC Card "Play.com" branded and the write protection switch has come off and switched the card to Write Protected and I cannot read or write from/to the card. :gag:

Any advice how can I retrieve the data from the card please?

You should be able to read the card even though it is write protected, so I think your card is corrupt. There is recovery software you can use which may recover the files. If you are willing to post card to me I could run the software on your card and hopefully recover the files, for free. Nothing lost if I fail.:)

Thanks for your offer mate. I tried reading from the card but the card never gets recognised so I called Play.com and they have sent me RMA form for returns and refund. :( :)

The software reads cards & hard drives which are not recognised by operating system most times and lets you retrieve data but not every time, it is called Rstudio.

Yep! Incredibly Stupid of me :bonk::bonk::bonk:

Trying to read a SDHC Card in a regular card reader. Now that's not gonna work is it? :shake: :gag:
