Memory cards for 5Dmkiii

So I have a 5dmkiii incoming (woohoo!), and I've set aside a bit of money for a couple of memory cards.

It's been a while since I've bought memory cards though and I'm not sure of the best brand / speed to go for. I've a few 4GB CF cards lying about that will do for day to day shooting, but as I said I want a couple of larger decent cards for weddings etc.

Has anyone got any recommendations? I'm trying to balance between cost and performance.

Congratulations on your purchase! I also recently bought a 5D3 and I use a 16GB Sandisk Extreme SD along with a 16GB Sandisk Extreme CF. I think as long as you stick with well known brands, from reliable dealers, you'll be just fine.

Can I ask what speed of card you went for?

Sure. The SD is 30MB/s and the CF is 60MB/s. I originally bought the SD to use in my 600D for HD video and it worked just fine. I bought the CF as a backup to use in the 5D3.
