I've a Sony A350 and I need to up the speed and size of my memory card ... can anyone point me in the direction of the cheapest online shop for cards? Also, I've seen a cheap offer for cards from Hong Kong, doe anyone know if these will be okay?

thanks

Have you tried Amazon, Play.com or mymemory.co.uk.

Perhaps if you type into Google the memory card you want, then cheapest prices should come up.

Failing that, there is a search engine called camerapricebuster.co.uk that you can try.

In terms of buying memory cards from HK, I wouldn't recommend it, since above retailers are UK based and prices seem to be very keen.

My 2p worth only though

all good choices from markta above. Prices will vary all the time too. It's possibly worth having a look a 7dayshop too. Avoid ebay like the plague for memory cards... way to many fakes to even consider ebay!

Hi & Welcome

As above really, I'd also recommend the likes of Sandisk cards as I've found these are very realiable

The Sandisk Extreme class 10 cards are very fast. Recommended.

I bought a scandisk from jessops online.

It was £50 cheaper than it was in store.

Avoid el cheapo memory cards like the plague and also any advertised on Ebay. (Some of these will be kosher but don't bet your most treasured snaps on it.) I use Sandisk Extreme III's although you may need something even faster if you're using a high frame rate camera like the Canon 7D at 8 frames a second.

Always buy your memory cards from reliable sources.

Personally I prefer Sandisk Extreme III
