messing with macro

well more close up than macro. would really love to get a dedicated macro lens , did have some extension tubes but they killed my 70-300 when one of the tubes locking lever snapped . still all just for fun really to see what can be done without a true macro lens.

Very much like the third one.

Yes the third one is excellent
shame about your lens some of the guys on here including Nick use a raynox achromatic filter that screws on rhe front of the lens and get excellent results
 
i had a raynox actually. back with my old kit. when i sold the lot to switch to fuji it went with it and regret it since ( much like regret selling my 70-200 f/4 L ) still thats history now. i could get another raynox 250 i guess but SH sigma 105 or tamron 90mm 1:1 macro are around £200 so may get one of those instead.
 
Can definitely recommend the Sigma 105 and apparently the tamron is juat as good
