Great use of light painting and flash to create a nice effect I think that you could have painted this a little more as that wood looks like it would have had a really nice warm glow that a little more light would have brought out

It would've made life a bit easier to use first curtain flash, you would've been able to dictate exactly where the pendulum was as it fired. Easy enough to calculate with a metronome though I suppose .

Liking this... Just my opinion, Graham, but it would have made it if the sweep of the arm was a little more obvious and not quite as long - say, 45 degrees, maybe?

I think this version might cover a couple of the points, although the pendulum doesn't have as much impact.
