Metz 58 AD-1 P digital flash

Hi and huge apologies to the moderators if I have posted in the wrong place. First trip out onto the forums.

I wondered if anyone would know whether or not, the Mecablitz Metz 58 AF-1 P digital gun would work with the Panasonic G1?

There's always an uncomfortable feeling about mentioning something that's not a true DSLR on forums. But I guess we all have to start somewhere .
