Beginner METZ 60T Set Up

I have a Bundle of Bits all seeming to belong to a Metz Flash Unit (old), I can figure out where some of the leads go but not other bits. I want to be forearmed with the right info before I put this set up for Sale ( elsewhere of course). Is there anyone on here I could communicate with, maybe share some photos to show what is what. Sorry if this all seems a bit vague. Thanks

Welcome to TP. :)

I think you mean a 60CT don't you? I had the 60CT-1 back in the early eighties (IIRC there were four - CT-1, CT-2 etc.), it was a bit of a beast too. I'll help if I can, but it was a long time ago and my memory is failing fast.

Anyway, if I can't - there will be others on here that can remember them, so post your pictures . . .

Thanks! Here are some Pictures. I know what the third picture is and number 4 is a 220v adapter, but none of the others

Hi Sheila,

The first one is the power connection lead that will fit between the battery and the flash.

The second one is the sync lead that connects the camera to the flash.

Third and fourth you know.

The fifth is a speaker lead adapter that has nothing to do with the flash (unless it has been modified in some way).

Lastly, the sixth looks like a video connection lead, but I can't be certain without seeing the plug pins. Again, it's very unlikely to be for the flash either.

I hope that's of some help . . .
 
Hello and Thank you. Just one more question if that's OK. These two attached pics are of the end of the Adapter in Picture 4, any ideas of where it would go, it's a hollow circular pin of a sort?

I'm sorry Sheila, I don't recognise that one. :(

It looks similar to an old Sony-Ericcson (or something similar) phone charger connector though . . .

Ok thanks, yes it is an Ericsson Adapter. I have put the Metz up for £40. I have seen the Battery Pack on ebay with no mains lead for £15 and one Lead on ebay for £20. Fingers crossed. One down, three more to go.... Thanks for all your help
