NSFW mexico bird photogrpaphy info

Going to mexico in September to the grand palladium vallarata hotel.
Has anyone been there of to Puerto Vallarata if so whats the bird photography like there or around the hotel.
Will be taking the 7d and sigma 150-600 c

Puerto Vallarta is a great place to visit, unfortunately when we were there I wasn't doing bird photography but there were plenty of Pelicans which could be photographed from the beach or approached on nearby rocky nesting ledges in the sea by using the services of a local boatmen.
A fun horse trip (wood saddles) into the surrounding lands should get you some good photo-opportunities.
Don't make the mistake I made thinking the water would be warm ... it was freezing!
