Micro 4/3 Wide Angle Help!

Looking for some advice folks.
I currently have the 9-18mm and while its a lovely wee lens I sometimes wish it had a fixed f4 rather than variable aperture.

That said it does get some lovely results but I do wonder if the extra 2mm with the 7-14 would be worth it!

Also I've tended lately to work mainly with primes, and I do slightly lust after the Olympus 12mm, especially with the f2.0 which I think would be handy for some night time shooting!

Just wondering what peoples thoughts are on the respective lenses,

I returned a 9-18....
1, because it was not wide enough and
2, because I did not like the physical construction, in-and-out, in-and-out.

The 7-14 is just one of the best lenses for M4/3 there is, I tend to use it as 7mm prime most of the time.
In fact during my last outing with it, I wanted a narrower angle of view and completely forgot it was a zoom.

The 7-14 is a real head-turner with that front element stuck out there.

7-14 without a doubt, get one from Kerso, much cheaper.

Cheers guys, the 7-14mm does look very good and especially at the price Kerso is selling it for (£675).

I'm a bit conflicted though, part of me thinks I should just hang onto the 9-18mm for now and see how I get on with it, although I agree with the comments about the build/operations I do find it a little odd that it gets longer at 9mm!!!!
 
Chris, another 7mm one from me, just to give you a taster. This was actually taken with it's bigger cousin on an E-1, but the perspective is obviously the same and at web resolution, the quality is likely to be broadly similar as well.

Given the choice Id have the 7-14, but cost dictated I bought the 9-18, although I like the results I agree it's a pain in the arse locking it out/in/out.

I'd love m43 to do a true ultra wide prime, 7 or 8mm, f2 'ish would suit.
