i always though that this is what the canon 1000d should have been but i have no idea on how possible that would have been with an ef mount.

Would be possible with the EF mont as EFS has a similar distance to focal plane as the 4/3rds system, but would Canoin do it?

If they manage to make lenses small enough, they could sell like hotcakes. I can imagine shorter and overall smaller people buying them. I just might get one myself next year if they get into production by then.
