Hi there, I will be living abroad hopefully in South America in a years time and traveling around I would prefer something a fair bit more compact than my current Canon and lenses or at least something that at times I can put in my pocket.
The new micro four thirds cameras such as the Panasonic GF1 look ideal (I'm surprised by the lack of posts about this and the Olympus EP1 on here).
However in comparison to Canon the lenses seem very expensive.
The Panasonic 14-140 is £725 and the 7-14 is £900. I thought the attraction of a smaller sensor was that lenses are cheaper to make? Or are these prices high due to the range being new and the prices likely to fall?
