Thanks Steve I had seen these on Amazon but dismissed them as being too cheap and expecting huge colourcast, would love to see some pics?

EDIT : Should have added that I usually use a Kood 3 stop soft grad aswell to bring the sky exposure downas I shoot early with the sun low in the sky.

It is a HK based company, but they ship from Jersey, delivery is usually 3-4 days in my experience.
Have thrown together a quick comparison of my 10 stop collection.
These are straight conversions from raw, so do need a bit of processing, but hopefully shows what to expect.

unusual that you get such a blue cast from the haida as i get very little / almost none from mine . is yours with the standard haida or the haida pro ii?

I think it was the standard, only used it this once before returning it to Amazon. I do also have a Haida ND 1.8 (6 stop) which is almost as blue, but not quite. Kinda lost my faith in them, so wont be trying anymore. I do like the 6 stop for during the blue hour, where the colour cast is not such a problem.

Never noticed any loss of quality with any of them to be honest, but I dont really pixel peep
Having said that, there will be a loss in contrast with almost any high density filter, goes with the territory.
If you want the ultimate in IQ, the Hightech Firecrest is the one to go for, its in a class of its own currently, tried a friends recently and was blown away with the results. Comes with a price to match though, compared to these.
Just as important is a decent tripod, much more chance of movement from wind, vibration etc when doing these long exposures.
