This might be a bit dumb but iv noteced the saying of HDR and i dont know what it means can some one help PLEASE:help:

before the vultures swoop ;) you'll find TP is a goldmine of information If you use the search function, theres enough info to keep you reading for months, I know! If you search HDR you'll find lots of threads. and if theres anything specific that doesnt make sense, theres lots of help here!

and welcome to the forum ;)
 
I was about to go and google HDR when i came across this thread.
I have now extended my knowledge a little further :woot:
 
I'm led to believe that HDR means that you, as the user/photographer, have an intolerence to any settings other than MAXIMUM in software such as Photomatix and that you like to try and pass off a crap photos through said overprocessing... ;)

...oops, what have I said :)

abit unfair IMO, there are some excellent examples of HDR being used well, many members dont over do it, and if you look at Pete Carr's Images, he makes excellent use of the technique, and subsequently, makes alot of money!
