migrating between classic and cc

i use lr classic cc to edit but like the idea of my images being stored on the cloud am i right in thinking that i have to send all the images to lightroom cc or am i mistaken? if i have to d that can someone advise how i do it please.

You can sync images to the cloud from Lightroom Classic CC.
 
tthanks for the reply craikeybaby i assumed i could but cant see how to do it, so theres no need to migrate them then which is the term i seen used
 
I believe you can sync certain folders or collections from classic to CC. I can’t remember how I done it, but I have a folder/collection on classic that syncs with CC.

I’m not going to lie, I’ve been using cc a lot more lately.
 
You sync your collections with the cloud, to the left of the name is a little symbol which looks like to arrows pointing away from each other click on that to sync with CC
 
is the "An internal error has occurred: ?:0: attempt to index a nil value" error still happening for some people in Lightroom?
