migrating to new pc

Hi guys, I'm just waiting on delivery of a new PC and wondered if anyone has any experience of migrating their existing software/data from XP. Mostly Photoshop, Dreamweaver & Outlook emails, do I need to re-install or can I migrate my existing settings/license keys. Also do I need any particular cables to attach the 2. Cheers

It's always best to re-install everything, that way you avoid taking any problems across from one machine to the other.

software needs to be installed on the new machine as it writes a series of system information to the background database (aka: the registry) within windows.

you can transfer you files over your wireless network or via usb storage device.
