Drew, that's excellent, wonderful detail through the heart of the band there. Clear down to Sagittarius, so looking to the heart of our galaxy at the bottom. Fits in nicely with that foreground too (I'm jealous)... The winner of this years Astro Photography comp this year was similar.

Excellent shot, tried a few similar efforts in Tuscany myself last week, but without as much effort !! as you have gone to. So mine was very much "faint strip of cloud". Class shot.
