One thing that I am finding frustrating with my new Nikon Z9 is the time that the camera takes to 'wake up', i.e when the camera is on, hasn't had its focus button tickled for a while and so has gone to sleep. Apparently a facet of mirrorless cameras (my Olympus kit shows the same frustrating behaviour). It means that when I am walking around and see a 'fleeting' image I stand a good chance of missing it whilst the camera comes to life.
Am I missing a trick - is there a way of minimising this?
