Went for a walk round the Coal Mining museum at Wakefield today so I thought I would share these

Nice shots Chris, you know that is just up the road from me, well 4 miles and haven't been for ages. Last time we went down the mine itself, that was an eye opener as to the conditions they had to work in.

I like the last two shots overall.

I've got a sudden rush of nostalgia or PTSD, not sure which lol.
Apprentice/time served mining electrician, Easington Colliery (East Durham) 1980-1986.
I worked on 'developments' (basically driving headings) so pics #2 and #3 are especially interesting to me
