Just wondering if anyone has first hand experience of mounting this (manual) lens on either a Canon xxxD or Sony Alpha A300?
If so, it would be very helpful to know what adapter is being used and what you can typically expect in terms of image quality from this lens.
I would welcome any thoughts as to whether this is likely to be a worthwhile or cost effective exercise.
Thanks in advance for any comments.

The Beercan that I know ofm is an AF lens so isn't an MD mount.....It should fit straight on a Sony DSLR body, as the newer Sony "A" or "Alpha" mount is the same as the older "Minolta AF" mount!

How you'd get it on your Canon, I have no idea!! :shake:

Unfortunately you won't be able to mount an MD lens on either a Sony or a Canon without the use of an optical adapter which will act as both a small teleconverter and a means of degrading image quality.

The Minolta AF version will mount onto a Sony Alpha body with no problems, the price of these is rising however!
