I've seen a lot of people offering their services for conversion of the Minolta lenses to EOS and Sony. Anyone who does nikon conversion? Don't have the heart to do it myself! And adapters aren't that much fun!

Like I've said in your other thread, the problem is that the flange focal distance length of the SR mount is less than the F mount so you can't adapt it by converting the mount as it would have to be further back beyond the rear element and if you moved the rear element as well the whole optical formula of the lens would be altered so in short the lens would not work.
Because the EOS and A mounts focal distance are shorter than SR mount then you can alter the mount or put an adapter in as you make up the distance to the F mount.

I would just accept that you can't do what you want to do with SR mount lenses.
