Missing pictures from card

Hi All,i was down loading some pics from my 7D earlier,the card is a sandisk extreme 60MB/s 8GB,into lightroom number of pics said 119,but it only down loaded 99,when i looked for the other 20 i could not find them :shrug:,unfortunately i deleted the pics on the card before i noticed,any idea what may have happened :shrug:,

Cant offer you any advise i'm affraid, but I would send that card off to Sandisk immediately, as they all come with an lifetime guarantee.

So i would get them to repair/ replace it as in photography especially if it's your business you cannot afford to take those chances of it happening again.

Did your card not come with the recovery software access code? If so download the software and run it. Lightroom has a duplicates filter, were some of the images maybe RAW+JPG as these will only download as one image?

Sorry but i am not very techi minded,i didnt realise it came with the things you mention,i am newish to lightroom (still trying to get my head round it),
i am shooting in raw only,what i will do is use the same card and next time i down load it i will not delete the images after i have downloaded them to lightroom,
