Missing Pixel

Recently noticed a missing pixel on the LCD screen of my Nikon D60, where there should be colour there is a blue square. It's within warranty having only had it 9 months or so.

What would be recommended?

I would expect its within tolerances. If your not happy then try to claim on warranty, they can only say no.

If it's only on the LCD screen, so what? All that's there for is a quick look to confirm you got the shot.

if its only one pixel it's probably not covered by warranty, but if its a small group it may be covered so long as it hasnt had a knock on it. I havent looked too hard but there may be something here to explain http://www.behardware.com/articles/519-1/lcd-screens-dead-pixels.html

If its under warranty then get it done. You pay money for new stuff so it is covered, the manufacturer offers it so make the most of your spend.

If you were looking to buy a second hand camera- one with a perfect screen and one with a missing pixel, which would you buy :shrug:
