My first post in this forum ever I think! A misty River Dane valley at the weekend. Landscape photography is not my forte at all, so please give as much constructive criticism as you can, it's all useful. Where could this be improved?

By Framing the horizon to be either at one third or two thirds of the frame.

I think it’s fine as it is - I’ve tried ( very crudely ) to take a third off the top or bottom and it doesn’t work for me. The rule of thirds isn’t always the way to go..

I tried as well but there's either too much foreground or too much grey sky. It was only a snapshot taken on a walk when I noticed the sunbeams shining down into the valley. I actually deleted this on my initial cull as it was so flat and misty but thought I'd have a go at recovering a bit of detail in the Raw file.
